A limited number of conference scholarships in the form of reduced or complimentary conference registration and/or travel reimbursement are available for current EDRA student members who have been accepted to present at this year’s EDRA conference. Students may apply online here through Monday, April 2, 2018. Please note: Students will not be able to apply for EDRA conference scholarships if their membership is not current.

The EDRA Student Conference Scholarship program (formerly known as the Student Travel Awards program) has been revamped in order to more effectively handle and evaluate applications, and to acknowledge the differential costs of attendance for its student members. A limited number of scholarships will be awarded each year, minimum of $100.00 and a maximum award value of $500.00 to help offset the varying costs of travel from a student’s institution to the conference site. Student Conference Scholarships will first be disbursed in the form of a complimentary student member conference registration to EDRA49 Oklahoma City (a value of $280.00) with any remaining scholarship funds awarded in a check payable in U.S. dollars.

Student Conference Scholarships are limited to those who are current dues-paying EDRA Student Members at the time of application and have been accepted to present at the conference. If your membership is not current, please join or renew before applying for the scholarship.

The deadline for submitting an application is April 2, 2018. Students will be informed of acceptance in late April 2018. All accepted students must confirm that they are accepting the award via return email to headquarters at headquarters@edra.org. Scholarship awardees will then be registered for EDRA49 Oklahoma City and remaining funds will be distributed upon arrival at the conference.

Student Conference Scholarships will first be disbursed in the form of a complimentary student member conference registration with any remaining scholarship funds awarded in a check payable in USD to offset any additional costs.
