"Health in All Design in a Post-Pandemic World"
Robin Guenther, Mike Lydon, Craig Zimring

The pandemic has highlighted the importance of health – a state of physical, mental and social well-being – for individuals, communities and nations.  This plenary will focus on the key role played by the physical environment (parks, homes, healthcare settings) in promoting health and safety during this pandemic and the emerging issues related to the built environment that will need to be addressed in the design of all future environmental design projects (workspaces, outdoor environments, schools, homes, healthcare). Given what we have learned during this pandemic – how should we design spaces in the future to support individual health, community health and global health?
