Conference Details

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at EDRA49 Oklahoma City! Volunteers are key to the success of this conference and there are many areas in which volunteers are needed. Learn more about volunteer positions below and if you are interested in volunteering, please direct any questions to headquarters@edra.org. Students are able to work 5 OR 10 hours throughout the conference to receive a discounted conference rate in exchange for their work. Volunteers will receive a $50 discount for 5 hours and a $100 discount for 10 hours.

Once volunteer assignments are confirmed in April, volunteers will be provided a discount code to use during the registration process in order to receive the volunteer discount. We will honor the registration rate based on your sign up date. If you would like to volunteer and will also be presenting at EDRA49, please email headquarters@edra.org to receive further instructions regarding registration.

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

Conference Prep: Volunteers are needed to help prepare and setup for EDRA49. Primary duties include stuffing registration packets.

Registration & EDRAStore: Volunteers are needed to help at the registration desk and EDRAStore. Duties include handing out registration packets and badges, managing onsite registrations, answering logistical questions and processing store merchandise.

Keynote, Plenary, EDRAShorts & EDRAAwards: Volunteers are needed to help with setup, serve as greeters and/or timekeepers, and assist speakers/presenters should they have any questions or need support.

Posters: Volunteers are needed to help with setup and breakdown of posters, serve as greeters and assist with any logistical/directional questions.

Mobile Sessions: Volunteers are needed to coordinate mobile session attendees prior to their departure and on their return, attend the session on location and serve as the continuing education monitor for that session.

Photographer: Volunteers are needed to take photos throughout the conference. A photo list will be given to the volunteer to help guide moments to capture as well as a schedule of special events for that particular day.
