Please check the [EDRA53 home page](http://www.edra.org/edra53) for updates on sessions with approved credits. --- **COVID-19 UPDATES** Updated February 2, 2022 **EDRA53 Greenville is committed to the health and safety of our conference attendees as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic together.** We want to reassure EDRA53 attendees that we intend for the conference to be a safe and exciting experience for all. While the information presented here is based on the current circumstances occurring in February, 2022, we remain hopeful that the current surge will have receded in a few weeks.  The Hyatt Regency in downtown Greenville (i.e., the hotel that the conference is being held at) operates under State and local guidelines, as well as under Hyatt Corporate guidelines, with respect to its safety protocols. Staff monitor information about the pandemic daily and processes evolve (and guidelines are updated) as needed. Fully vaccinated staff are not required to wear masks in the hotel. However, unvaccinated staff are required to wear a mask indoors. With the recent surge in January, most staff have elected to wear a mask at work as an added precaution regardless of vaccination status.  All Hyatt Regency staff who handles food and beverages wear a mask.   Hand sanitizing stations and social distancing reminders have been placed throughout the lobby and in meeting spaces.  Currently, we are encouraging attendees to wear masks so that everyone feels more comfortable, regardless of their vaccination status.  We want to do all we can to help “slow the spread.”  **If at any time we learn of additional recommendations or steps that should be taken, please know that we will work diligently to implement those as soon as possible.** June is a great time of year in South Carolina. We remain hopeful that the current January surge of COVID-19 will recede soon. Although this is an in-person event, we will be livestreaming key speakers throughout the conference. EDRA strongly recommends all staff, volunteers and conference attendees who are eligible to be vaccinated to be fully vaccinated.  EDRA will adhere to any public health guidelines in place at the time by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. For information about the Nana Kirk Scholarship and to apply, please see: [**www.edra.org/nanakirktravelscholarship**](http://www.edra.org/nanakirktravelscholarship) --- **TRANSPORTATION** Which airport should I fly to in Greenville, SC? * **Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP**) is 25 minutes from the Hyatt Regency. * **Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT)** is about 1 hour and 30 minutes by car from  Greenville, SC. * **Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)** is around 2 hours and 30 minutes by car from the Hyatt Regency in downtown Greenville, SC. **Does the Hyatt Regency in downtown Greenville (the conference hotel) have an airport shuttle running between the hotel and GSP Airport?** Yes, the shuttle is running to and from GSP Airport. The airport shuttle runs from 6am – 10pm.  Please note that this is NOT an on-demand shuttle.  Guests that would like to utilize the shuttle must make their arrangements through the Bell Stand by calling the hotel at least 2 weeks prior to their arrival so the Hyatt can make sure they have adequate staff. Guests will need to provide their name, phone number, flight #, and the date that they want shuttle service, they need to be prepared with this information when they call. . What other transportation options are available between the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) and the Hyatt Regency in downtown Greenville, SC? Greenville is served by several taxi and limo services, including Yellow Cab, Budget Cab, and Uber. Taxi service must be requested at the air transportation counter. Current estimates for an Uber from GSP to the Hyatt Regency in Greenville run around $30 (one-way).   **Will transportation be available between the Hyatt Regency in Greenville, SC and Clemson, SC.?** Yes, buses will be available to transport attendees from the Hyatt Regency in Greenville, SC to Clemson SC in the morning and back to Greenville after the reception. Buses will also be available to transport attendees who wish to only attend the evening reception in Clemson. You will be able to sign up for the bus service when you register for the conference.   Where can I find ADA transportation services? EDRA does not offer any transportation services between the airport, venue, or accommodations. Shuttle buses are not provided unless stated otherwise for a specific event.
