Graduate Student Workshop: a new addition to EDRA41

The Graduate Student Workshop is a new initiative of EDRA designed to provide a forum for graduate students to present and discuss their ongoing research with senior mentors in environment-behavior design research.  The purpose of the workshop is to strengthen and further thesis / dissertation work, as well to support the development of networks for young researchers in this area, both with senior researchers and with other graduate students.  All students engaged in environment-behaviour research and/or design at a graduate level are invited to apply to participate.

Show us your best work for a chance to win a prestigious EDRA Student Award!

Each year EDRA strives to recognize outstanding work by student researchers and the deadline for the EDRA 41 Student Research Paper Award is approaching fast!  So now is the time to put the final touches on that great research paper from this past year (or encourage your students to do so!) and submit your full paper with your abstract by October 1st, 2009 to be considered for this year’s award.

Papers submitted for the Student Research Paper Award must be no more than 14 pages, previously unpublished, and they must be authored by students only. The author of the winning paper will receive $500 in cash for travel support, a free one-year EDRA membership, and a full scholarship to EDRA 41 in Washington. D.C. next June.
