EDRA Student Awards

Student awards for research and design are presented at the annual EDRA conference.

"The EDRA 2006 student paper award could not have happened at a better time for me. I couldn't have started my final dissertation writing phase on a better high. The award also convinced my committee that I was ready to defend that semester. The paper I submitted eventually became the first empirical chapter of my dissertation after some revisions and additions, and set the tone for the other five empirical chapters. So thank you EDRA! And to students: just send those entries in, you never know, experts might actually consider your work pretty good!"

EDRA Student Research Paper Awards: Deadline is Approaching!

Student Research Award
EDRA student awards recognize outstanding research and writing by student authors. Winning papers are published in the conference proceedings, and first-prize winners receive a $500 cash prize for travel to the conference or other expenses, with all conference fees paid by EDRA. Second-prize winners receive a complimentary conference registration, including a ticket to the Awards Banquet. Both winners receive a free EDRA membership for one year. Submissions of full-length papers are due October 1, 2009.

Nature & Ecology Student Paper Award
The Nature & Ecology Network also sponsors a separate award for student papers addressing issues and research in nature and ecology.  The submission and review process and author requirements are the same as for the EDRA Student Paper Awards with final selection made by a committee from the Nature & Ecology Network.
